inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Drug Investigation has seized a 20 kg of weed from a courier with the initials of IP (37) from Bandung, West Java. Police reveals that IP was ordered from someone inside the Nusa Kambangan Prison with the initials of D.
“I got this out of a man from Cilacap who now resides in prison,” confessed IP in front of the police investigators on Tuesday (7/23/2024).
Furthermore, IP revealed that the drug was sent by his boss, the man from Cilacap, with the initials of D. The weed was sent from Padang to Mataram city. Throughout the distribution process, the two were in tight contact through phone. Before the weed arrived in Mataram City, IP was already on stand-by at the location. As the one who received the illicit item, he was promised to be paid IDR 50 million.
IP admits that this is his first job and says he did not know where to deliver the weed as he has not received any directions from his boss, D.
“I was only receiving the packages, I stored it inside the wardrobe until I got further direction from D,” said IP further.
He says that he took the job because he needs the money and as of now, he has not been paid at all.
Police Assistant Inspector Dhafid Siddiq concludes that IP was sent to receive the 20 kg weed from his boss, D. They deliver the drugs through goods expedition services with the alibi of sending clothes, but in truth that was a 20 kg of weed, packaged with aluminum foil.
“IP was promised to be paid dearly and will be delivered to the buyer according to the instruction from his boss,” concluded Siddiq.
