inp.polri.go.id - Manokwari. West Papua Regional Police arrested six suspects related to Fake Antigen Test Result and Vaccine Certification in Sorong city on Thursday (22/07/21).
Chief of West Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing, appeals to the public not to try forging the Covid-19 vaccination certificate and antigen test result if they want to go out of the region.
"Recently, I have discovered the forgery case of vaccine certification and antigen test result in Sorong, and six suspects are arrested. I remind the people one more time not to forge fake documents if travelling outside the region because the makers and users would be sentenced", the Chief of West Papua Regional Police said during a mass vaccination event at the pavilion of the South Manokwari regent's office.
Police Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing hopes the West Papuans, mainly in South Manokwari, to get vaccinated because the government has provided high efficacy vaccines to fight against Coronavirus such as Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and later Moderna and Pfizer.
Those vaccines are now believed to form immunity towards Coronavirus, and he hopes, by vaccination, the herd immunity could be achieved.
