Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Semarang City Sub-regional Police investigates the shooting of a teenage girl at a boarding house on Jalan Pusponjolo Selatan in Semarang, Central Java, allegedly by an unknown person.

West Semarang Police Chief Senior Inspector Andre Bachtiar confirmed on Thursday (3/10/2024)  that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening. However, he has not provided detailed information regarding the circumstances and background of the shooting.

“The case is being handled by the Semarang Police Unit of Criminal Investigation,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Reports indicate that the victim, identified as C (14), was approached by a man who allegedly fired what is suspected to be an airsoft gun.

The teenager sustained injuries to her arm and abdomen from the shots.
