Yogyakarta Regional Police and Tekiro, the automotive tools manufacturer, held a workshop training for 100 people who took part in pre-employment activities in Yogyakarta and its surrounding areas. “We would like to say thank you and grateful for the opportunity for the collaboration with Yogyakarta Police. We hoped that this training would give a huge impact for all participants and support local economic growth by providing more employment,” says the Marketing Department Head Tekiro, Hery Peter in his official statement on Friday (9/29/2023). During the two-days training program with the theme of "Independent Mechanic for Prosperous Jogja", participants were given various new in-depth knowledge and insight on how to promote their products through digital marketing and social media. The activity was meant to provide new knowledge about automotive industry that keeps on progressing along with the advancement of current technology. “Yogyakarta Police and Tekiro would continue to guide the participants until they reached their goals in automotive industry. We wished that participants could gain something valuable from this training as a mechanic,” said Yogyakarta Police Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan. To ensure that this training is well perceived by participants, they will have to follow the last theory test which several participants will be chosen to participate in a tournament with a total grand prize of dozens million rupiahs. The training was also supported by Taman Siswa Community and in that event, Tekiro provides 1 toolkit set to all participants as a provision for them to open a workshop business later. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
