Inp.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. As many asĀ 11 women alleging sexual violence by the Rector of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) in Gorontalo have filed reports with the Gorontalo Regional Police.
Their legal representative, Nismawaty Male, confirmed on Thursday (26/4/2024) that they have submitted the report on Tuesday.
Of the victims, eight are lecturers, and three are educational staff, according to antaranews.com.
As many as six of them have been summoned by the Gorontalo Police for statements.
Nismawaty expected for justice and emphasized the need to prevent any recurrence of such acts.
The Rector, identified as AH, denied the allegations, citing significant damage to personal and family reputation.
The Task Force for Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) of UNU Gorontalo previously reported the rector to the Higher Education Services Institution (LLDIKTI) and the Nahdlatu Ulama Regional Leadership (PWNU) Gorontalo for cases involving 12 lecturers and educational staff at the campus.
