Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The South Kalimantan Regional Police seized one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and 34 ecstasy pills from a North Kalimantan drug network. 

The Narcotics Crime Director of the South Kalimantan Police, Senior Superintendent Kelana Jaya, said on Thursday  that the suspects, identified as YD (40) and DS (32), were the couriers transporting the drugs to Banjarmasin. 

The drug smuggling to Banjarmasin was detected after a tip which was followed up by a team led by Superintendent Deddi Daniel Siregar from the Subdirectorate 1 of  the South Kalimantan Police Directorate of Narcotics Crime.

Police arrested suspect YD on Jalan Ahmad Yani Kilometer 6  in Banjarmasin, the location where the drug transaction was planned to take place, as per the tip received on Sunday. 

Upon search, a large packet containing one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and 34 ecstasy pills of various logos and colors were found, according to antaranews.com.
