Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Soekarno-Hatta City Sub-regional Airport issued citations to 237 vehicles during the 2024 Operation Zebra Jaya traffic enforcement campaign from 14 to 24 October 2024.

“Since the start of the operation, we've recorded 237 traffic violations,” said Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Head of Senior Inspector Bernard Bachtera Saragih on Friday (25/10/2024), noting that motorcyclists made up the majority of offenders.

The breakdown included 160 motorcyclists, 41 passenger car drivers, and 36 truck drivers. Officer Agung Sidik detailed that 112 motorcyclists lacked proper helmets, eight were underage, 17 did not have licenses, and 23 lacked registration documents.

For passenger car and truck drivers, common violations included 34 for failing to wear seat belts, 13 for overloading, 15 for improper lane use, eight for driving without a license, and six for lacking registration papers.
