inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Police arrest a man with the initials of MA (28) for having a sexual intercourse with a minor, his own sister-in-law. Report says that he was under the influence of alcohol when he raped his sister.

"The suspect molested a minor and she is his own wife's sister," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Serang Sub-regional Police, Senior Police Inspection Andi Kurniady on Wednesday (3/19/2025).

Police say the victim is still a 15-year-old student. MA molested his own sister-in-law  in September 2024.

Furthermore, Andi detailed that the suspect was arrested in Cikeusal, Serang Regency, on Sunday (3/16/2025) at his own house. He was reported by the family’s victim in March 2025.

Police further adds that MA molested his own sister-in-law when his wife was working. MA and the victim happened to be living under the same roof. 

MA is currently barred behind the cell of Serang Sub-regional Police HQ for further legal process. He will be charged Article on child abuse as per the Law on Child Protection.
