A Women Arrested Due to Selling Illegal Liquors

inp.polri.go.id - A woman with the initials RF (32), a resident of Gunung Panjang Village, Tanjung Redeb District, Berau, was arrested due to selling liquors without a permit at her kiosk in Sutomo street. Tanjung Redeb Police Chief Iptu H. Simalango, explained that this arrest began with reports from local community regarding the sale of alcohol around Tanjung Redeb District. "We checked and found that there were dozens of bottles of alcohol in the kiosk," explained the Tanjung Redeb Police Chief. From the arrest, the police seized 33 bottles of alcohol. Currently, the perpetrators have been taken to the Tanjung Redeb Police for further examination. The perpetrators are also threatened with Article 3 paragraph (1) of Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2010 concerning amendments to the first Regional Regulation of Berau Regency Number 2 of 2009 concerning the Prohibition of Circulation and Sales of Alcoholic Drinks. "The perpetrators are threatened with six months imprisonment and a maximum fine of Rp50 million," said the Tanjung Redeb Police Chief.
