Accommodates Journalists Feel Accommodated by PON XXI Media Center

inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. Journalists reporting for XXI National Sports Week (PON) Aceh-North Sumatra are saying that they are satisfied with the facilities and services at the Media Center of PON XXI in Hermes Hotel, Banda Aceh.

Opened on September 8th, 2024, the media center provided by the Communication and Information Ministry, KONI, and PB PON XXI, has become the center of information and media covering for the biggest sporting event in Indonesia.

A journalist from Papua, Ifo Rahabav says that the media center facility in Banda Aceh is perfect and really helps him in his work.

“About the facility of the media center in Banda Aceh, it is very complete and truly amazing. The service is very good, particularly for me who is a journalist from Papua,” says Ifo Rahabav when met at PON XXI Media Center, Banda Aceh on Tuesday (9/10/2024).

Same as Ifo, a Kompas TV journalist, Mustajab, also compliments the media center facility and specially designed for media works.

“We saw a press conference room that is thoroughly maintained every day. There is also a one-on-one studio that can be used to hold a special interview with a particular speaker,” says Mustajab.

Also, other than providing journalists with snacks, coffee, lunch, and dinner, PON XXI Media Center also equipped with high-speed internet access through Wi-Fi and LAN wires to help journalists in uploading their news and sending their news covering quickly.

In addition, the comfort of journalists is also taken into account. The Communication and Information Ministry has prepared electric massage chairs in the relaxation area and also game areas and entertainment events provided for journalists as a form of appreciation for the media crew.

“We hope that the presence of Media Center PON XXI in Aceh and North Sumatra can accommodate journalist work in covering PON and informing the event to all,” says the Director of Information and Communication for Human Development and Culture Bambang Dwi Anggono, on Tuesday (9/10/2024) at the PON XXI Aceh Media Center.
