Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, reviews the preparation of management and security of 2024 Homecoming Season in Cisumdawu Toll Road, West Java. On that occasion, Coordinating Minister Muhadjir received a report from the acting Regent and Sumedang Sub-regional Police Chief that Sumedang Regency that Sumedang is ready to handle the homecoming flow. “I express my appreciation and gratitude to the Acting Regent and the police chief, also to the Sumedang Government who have prepared everything so well,” says Muhadjir after hearing the report on Friday (4/5/2024). During his review, Muhadjir inspected the preparation of the integrated posts, rest areas, toll road, and the public facilities. According to him, several facilities are not 100% ready as Cisumdawu Toll Road is still a relatively new road. However, he assures that the level of preparation is already at above 90%. “We hoped that this new toll road could smoothen the homecoming traffic flow,” hoped Coordinating Minister Effendy. Furthermore, Effendy also implores related stakeholders to be on guard in facing the explosive mass of people during the homecoming flow. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
