inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police confiscated several documents during a search at Hutama Karya (HK) Tower. The search was related to alleged corruption in the Djatiroto Sugar Factory modernization project at PTPN XI.
"Many, we have obtained several documents, evidence, files, data and so on related to the case," said Head of Sub-Directorate II of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Anti-Corruption Corps, Senior Superintendent Bhakti Eri Nurmansyah on Thursday (2/20/2025).
He explained that the search at the Hutama Karya office was because of a failed project to be completed or stalled, thus harming state finances.
"Therefore, we are here looking for and trying to obtain the necessary documents related to the case," he explained.
Bhakti added that the search itself was carried out in the boardroom, commissioner's room, and so on. Then, in this case, 50 witnesses have been examined.
