The Head of NTB Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Azas Siagian states that one of the responsibilities of the Religious Ministry in handling religion issues has tight relation with police duties in maintaining security situations. This makes coordination between police and religious officials brilliant and strategies in maintaining security.

"If there are problems related to religious and racism issues, we, together with religious instructors and Security Development and Public Order Unit, will go directly to handle the problem in each village," said Kombes Pol. Azas Siagian, Thursday (20/2/25).

Azas also said that in the near future, welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 2025, the NTB Regional Police are also committed to continuing to tighten regional surveillance to ensure that traditions and community activities during the fasting month run safely and orderly.

Strengthening synergy between the police, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and religious instructors is expected to not only prevent potential conflicts, but also strengthen the values ​​of religious moderation in community life.
