Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura.  Senior Superintendent Viktor D. Mackbon says that Sub-regional City Police of Jayapura City will anticipate security disturbances in Jayapura City ahead May 1st, which is the day Papua annexed to Indonesia following its independence from the colonizers.

Mackbon adds that his party will also build intense communication with various parties who plan to rally on May 1st, particularly groups who claim to be West Papua National Committee (KNPB) groups or others.

Furthermore, if there are parties or groups who aim to hold a rally ahead or on May 1st, he implores them to continue to follow the law and mechanism applied, and to also not to disturb public order.

Furthermore, Mackbon adds that the Jayapura City Sub-regional Police and the military will work together in providing security and safety for the people of Jayapura.
