Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said that the police and students distributed the daily supplies to ease the burden on people who were feeling the affect of fuel price increase, while also establishing and maintaining good relationship with local community. Bandung Police Chief also adds another 400 daily supplies to be distributed to several points in the Bandung Regency area. "Our targets fro this social activity are traders, motorcycle taxis, and people whose economy are affected after the fuel price gone up," said the Bandung Police Commissioner. The distribution was carried out simultaneously in 31 sub-districts in Bandung Regency. "Hopefully this activity can be useful for the affected people while waiting for social assistance from the government, be it BLT, BST, or BSU, or other assistance," said Commissioner Kusworo Wibowo. Furthermore, after the increase in Pertalite, Pertamax, and Solar fuel, he asked the people not to worry, because the government will help them going through this difficult time along with them.
