inp.polri.go.id - Pangkalpinang. The Bangka Belitung Regional Police will map the vulnerability areas for the Regional Head Election Polling Station. And according to the mapping by the police, there are 11 polling stations in the province that are prone and require strict security operations.
“We have done the mapping so that the election would go safely, orderly, and smoothly,” says the Head Ops of Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Muhammad Erwin on Monday (9/9/2024).
The total polling stations in Bangka Belitung is 2,197 with 11 are prone, 100 are vulnerable 100, and 1,793 are less vulnerable.
“The eleven prone polling stations are scattered into three in Bangka Regency, three in Central Bangka, two in West Bangka, and three in Belitung,” says Muhammad Erwin.
He says Bangka Belitung Regional Police has established security posts in each regency/city to ensure public conduciveness during the election.
“We have deployed our 3,127 personnel from regional police and sub-regional police ranks, also in collaboration with the military and related stakeholders,” he concluded.
