Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police (INP) have withdrawn all reports from the regional police regarding allegations of blasphemy at Al Zaytun Boarding School.

"Several reports, including those from students, student representatives, and others at the West Java Regional Police, have been temporarily withdrawn for investigation by Bareskrim," stated Brigadier General Djuhandani, the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim of INP, on Thursday (6/7/23).

The focus of the investigators is currently on establishing the presence of religious blasphemy, while the investigation into the financial transactions has not yet been initiated.

Additionally, the investigators have recently submitted the collected evidence for forensic laboratory analysis. Witness interrogations have been conducted in Indramayu.

"We have commenced several examinations today, including in Indramayu. Our plan is to question 14 witnesses, and the process is currently underway. At Bareskrim, we are examining 4 witnesses who are former officials at Al-Zaytun," he clarified.
