Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police (Polri) assumed that the owner of the Binomo trading application is in Indonesia, even though the server is allegedly to be abroad. Thus, according to Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, S.I.K., M.H., Director of Special Economic Crimes (Dirtipideksus) of Bareskrim Polri, there are other suspects besides Indra Kenz related to the Binomo case. "There is an allegation that the owner of Binomo is in Indonesia, meaning that there are other suspects besides IK," Dirtipideksus told reporters at the Indosurya Building, Jakarta, Thursday (10/3/22). For this reason, the Police are continuing to search for the new suspect. Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Polri said that they are conducting an in-depth investigation through the payment gateway (channel for payment) used in Binomo transactions. According to Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri, the payment gateway is currently being investigated. The payment gateway has become a pathway for investigators to look for other perpetrators besides Indra Kenz. "We are still trying to dig deeper with the payment gateway,” explained Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Polri The investigators have already confiscated many assets belonging to Indra Kenz, including his Ferrari and his two houses in Medan, North Sumatra. Investigators are also requesting a court order to confiscate Crazy Rich's assets in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas. Previously, investigators had also confiscated a Tesla car type 3, which was cooperatively handed over by Indra Kenz to investigators. "In the latest update related to the IK case, investigators have confiscated one more car, which is a red Ferrari California 2012. There are also 2 land units in Deli Serdang that have also been confiscated by investigators from the Dittipideksus," explained the Head of the Public Information Section of Polri. Indra Kenz has been identified as a suspect in the alleged crime of online gambling, investment fraud, spreading false news through electronic media, and money laundering (TPPU). He faces up to 20 years in prison.
