The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) spearheaded the cleanup of campaign materials during the quiet period in Bandung, West Java to maintain the smooth lead up to the 2024 elections. "The cleanup process in Bandung itself will serve as a trigger for all districts and cities in West Java to do the same, effectively and maximally," said Bawaslu Member Lolly Suhenty on early Sunday (11/2/2024). Bawaslu, along with the Bandung City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), conducted the campaign material cleanup along Pasteur Street, Prof. Mochtar Kusumaatmadja Flyover, and the West Java People's Struggle Monument area, antaranews.com reported. She said that Bawaslu had instructed its personnel to patrol,  monitor and prohibit  any physical and digital campaign-related activities during the quiet period from 11 to 13 February 2024. She said that that Bawaslu has cyber monitoring patrols. Meanwhile, the Head of Bandung City Satpol PP, Rasdian Setiadi, said that his office would deploy 2,700 personnel to ensure the campaign material cleanup during the quiet period from 11 to 13 February  2024.
