The traditional structure of Bentar Temple, which was named Paduraksa Jayan Danantya was inaugurated directly by Bali Police Chief, Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra at the Backyard of Bali Police HQ, Thursday (9/6). The inauguration of Bentar Paduraksa Jayan Danantya Temple was also attended by Bali Deputy Police Chief, Brigadier General Ketut Suardana, the Chairperson of Bhayangkari, Mrs. Ketut Putu Jayan, the Deputy Chairperson of Bali Bhayangkari, Mrs. Candra Ketut Suardana, and all the main officials of Bali Police. The structure of Bentar Temple has the area of 108 m2 and was built for 3 months with the total funds of Rp250,000,000,-. The funds came from CV. Tiga Utama Karya where the company runs in architect/interior sector who really appreciates the performance of the Bali Police. Prior the inauguration of the Bentar Paduraksa Jayan Danantya Temple, a Melaspas ceremony was held with the aim of enliven the building so that it can used accordingly, then continued with a joint prayer by the Head of the Regional Police and the Deputy Chief of the Bali Police and all Bali Police personnel who were present at that time. In his message, the Bali Police Chief said that philosophically, Bentar Paduraksa Jayan Danantya Temple symbolizes the strong pillars of the Bali Regional Police character as protectors of the community and all police members in carrying out their duties professionally and humanely. “Based on these philosophical values, the Deputy Chief of the Bali Police and I initiated the construction of this Bentar Temple as a form of preserving the sad kerthi values, which are the heritage of Balinese ancestors in maintaining the balance and harmony of nature, humans, Balinese culture on a scale and niskala, which includes customs and traditions, arts and culture, as well as local wisdom," he said. The Bali Police Chief continued that the Bentar Paduraksa Jayaan Danantya Temple represents the soul and personality of the Bali Police personnel who have the identity, quality, competitiveness, and responsibility in carrying out their duties. "This temple represents the soul and personality of the Bali Police personnel and I hope that this building can be put to good use and become one of the landmarks of the Bali Police," he added.
