Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) has announced plans to construct a National Resilience Center in Jakarta, aimed at bolstering the country’s capacity to respond to terrorism threats and enhance national security.
Air Marshall Fanfan Infansyah, the Head of BNPT's General Bureau and Chairman of the center's development team, explained on Wednesday (1/1/2924( that the facility will play a key role in strengthening Indonesia's defenses against terrorism. It will also contribute to fostering national resilience by addressing both prevention and recovery from terrorism.
Slated for construction in 2025 in West Jakarta, the center will function as a central hub for coordination, rehabilitation of returnees, and counter-radicalization efforts. It will also provide services for law enforcement coordination, victim support, and terrorism assessments.
