Chief Fadil Imran Inspects Security in Banyuwangi, Bali Ahead of WWF

Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief of the Security Maintenance Agency, Commissioner General Police Fadil Imran, inspected security preparation at Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi, East Java, on Friday (10/5/2024).. 

This port serves as the entry point to Bali, ahead of the 10th World Water Forum scheduled for 18-25  May 2024.

"I want to ensure by checking the security readiness for entry to Bali via Ketapang Port," Chief Fadil said, as reported by antaranews.com.

He said that the INP has prepared a comprehensive security plan through Operation Puri Agung 2024.

Chief Fadil inspected several points with his team, including the ASDP monitoring room, ferry docks, and checking personnel who have been on duty there.

A total of 596 personnel from the East Java Regional Task Force are deployed to secure the entry to Bali via East Java, particularly in Banyuwangi.

In addition to Banyuwangi,Chief  Fadil, who is also the Head of Operation Puri Agung 2024, visited  Bali to inspect the security preparation and the locations where the 10th World Water Forum will take place.

Security at the 10th World Water Forum in Nusa Dua, Bali, is stringent due to its prestigious nature, being the first time Indonesia has been entrusted to host the event.

Indonesia is hosting the world's largest water forum for the first time, a source of pride, prompting the National Police to meticulously prepare security arrangements.
