The congestion reportedly because of queues in the rest area. “Yes, because of people queuing in rest areas for Friday Prayer,” says Head Ops of INP Traffic Corps, Senior Superintendent Eddy Junaedi on Friday (4/5/2024). Furthermore, police have implemented contra flow to resolve the congestion issue. Contra flow is implemented right in front of the rest area. It was previously reported that the number of vehicles exiting Jakarta is increasing today. The traffic engineering in traffic has begun to be implemented to adapt with the situation at the field.
