inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi says 100 percent of his staff have signed the integrity pact on gambling prevention.

The minister also asked the Secretary General of Communication and Information Ministry Mira Tayyiba to ensure that all ministry staff are not getting involved with gambling practice.

“According to the information from our Secretary General, there are 5,828 staff or 100 percent of the Communication and Information Ministry staff that have signed the integrity pact,” said Minster Budi on Thursday (7/25/2024).

The integrity pact signing of gambling prevention is one of the efforts from the ministry to eradicate the dangerous activity internally.

Furthermore, he reveals that the integrity pact signing was held after the report by the Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK) in early July regarding 15 employees within the Ministry of Communication and Information who were involved in online gambling as players.

Minister Budi pledges that his party will guarantee none of his staff will be involved in online gambling practice through routine inspection. Those who were caught gambling will be punished according to the applicable regulation.
