inp.polri.go.id – Surabaya. Deputy Chairman of House of Representative's Commission III, Ahmad Sahroni, expressed his appreciation for the innovation made by the East Java Regional Police, introducing patrol cars with new technology, namely Integrated Node Capture Attitude Record (INCAR). Through this technology, the Police can monitor various types of traffic violations on a mobile basis. This is different from ETLE technology, where the monitoring camera is only installed at specific points. This is because the INCAR technology is embedded directly in the police patrol car and has used an artificial intelligence (AI) system, enriched with various advanced features, such as facial recognition, number plate recognition, and a speed gun. When I saw the INCAR car, it was like seeing a police patrol car abroad, one of which was in the United States, where one of the traffic controls was carried out on a mobile basis, said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Monday (10/11). So, he continued, the patrolling Police made sure there were no traffic violations, such as crossing red lights, speeding, not wearing driving gear, and other traffic violations. "This is an excellent innovation, which aligns our police security technology with those in developed countries. Of course, this is very proud," explained the Deputy Chairman of House of Representative's Commission III. The Deputy Chairman of House of Representative's Commission III said that this INCAR technology is a suitable and indeed needed development of ETLE technology, which has also been used at many points by the Police. Sahroni assessed that the breakthrough made by the Directorate of Traffic Management of the East Java Police was following the spirit of the Precision Police that the Chief of National Police echoed. "This breakthrough puts the value of Polri's precision first. This is because law enforcement does not require the direct presence of officers, thereby reducing the existence of extortion activities or other fraudulent actions in the field. After all, everything is integrated and monitored by the system. So I consider this an outstanding breakthrough," explained the Deputy Chairman of House of Representative's Commission III. Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representative's Commission III also hopes that other regional Police can more widely use this INCAR technology throughout Indonesia to realize orderly and law-abiding traffic in the country. With its sophisticated features and affordable cost, Sahroni believes this technology will be beneficial for the community. This INCAR system will undoubtedly maximize the monitoring range to make the performance of the Traffic Directorate at Regional Police in the country more effective and maximal. Therefore, I also hope that other Regional Police in Indonesia can also develop technology like this, explained the Deputy Chairman of House of Representative's Commission III.
