Ensuring Christmas Security, Chief of Banten Regional Police Inspects Saint Odile Church in Tangerang

Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Banten Regional Police, Primary Officers of Banten Regional Police, Chief of Tangerang City Departmental Police, and Regent of Tangerang, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, inspected Saint Odile church in Tangerang regency, in the context of providing security during the Christmas celebration on Saturday (25/12/2021). "After visiting security and service posts, we continue our inspection to the Saint Odile church in ensuring safe and conducive worship activities", the Chief of Regional Police said. Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto ensure that security measures conducted by the security personnel during Christmas celebrations in Saint Odile church run well. "We will keep providing maximum service and protection in the Saimt Odile Catholic church", the Chief of Regional Police said. The two-star general also directly saw the Health Protocols enforcement at the Catholic church, such as face mask-wearing, Thermo gun utilisation, physical distancing, handwashing locations, and hand sanitisers. "I hope this obedience towards Health Protocols could be made as personal guidance and we provide advice to the public related to Health Protocols implementation in accordance to Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 66/2021", Chief of Regional Police explained. Chief of Regional Police hoped that the Christmas celebration could run smooth and conducive and not be followed by the Covid-19 surge. "Let's maintain the safe and conducive security and order, and also being disciplined in Health Protocols implementation in preventing new Covid-19 clusters in the Christmas and New Year celebrations", he stated.
