Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police Ensures Christmas Eve Celebration Runs Conducive and Adhere to Health Protocols

Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, stated that Christmas celebrations in North Sumatra run conducive without any disturbance. "Christmas celebration runs safely and still adhere to Health Protocols", Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak said after checking the security and order situation at the Batak’ Protestant Church (HKBP) Sudirman church, Imam Bonjol street, on Saturday (25/12/21). Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police stated that, along with the Commander of 1st/BB Military Region, Armed Forces Major General Hasanuddin, Police hold road patrol from afternoon to night to monitor the Christmas celebration situation in Medan and other 33 regencies/cities in North Sumatra. "Thanks to God, the Christmas Eve commencement was conducive, and people adhere to Health Protocols", the two-star general said. The former Chief of North Sulawesi appreciated the congregations worshipping in church and still adhered to Health Protocols such as mask-wearing, keeping distance, and avoiding crowds. He also appreciated the church administrator who installed the PeduliLindungi application as an effort to suppress Covid-19 transmission. "Commander of 1st/BB Military Region and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and keep observing the Health Protocols so that Christmas worshipping could run solemnly and the congregation stay healthy", the 1990 Class of Armed Forces Academy concluded.
