inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), emphasized that every citizen has the right to free health services, including health check-ups on birthdays.
"This medical check-up is not cheap, and often our people do not have the ability to do it," said Coordinating Minister AHY on Monday (2/10/2025).
According to AHY, there are still many people who do not understand the importance of health check-ups, even though this should be a basic step in maintaining one's health.
"It is better to do early detection of potential health problems so that they can be treated immediately if a disease is found," said Coordinating Minister AHY.
He emphasized that the free health check program is not just a campaign promised by President Prabowo Subianto, but part of the constitutional mandate that guarantees the right of every citizen to health services.
Coordinating Minister AHY added that this program is a strategic policy that touches the wider community, so that all citizens have the right to have the opportunity to undergo free health check-ups.
"The government is on the side of the people, especially the less fortunate, so that they can get good health services, including free medical check-ups," said Coordinating Minister AHY in his closing statement.
