Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT Pertamina (Persero) has confirmed that its fuel and LPG supplies are adequate for the upcoming Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025, despite the anticipated surge in demand.

Pertamina CEO Simon Aloysius Mantiri said in a press briefing on Monday (9/12/2024) that the company’s current stock can meet demand for up to 39 days. 

For LPG, Pertamina produces 28,658 metric tons daily, covering a 15-day period. Daily production of Pertalite can last 17 days, Pertamax for 21 days, Solar for 17 days, Dex for 28 days, and Pertamax Turbo for 39 days, according to antaranews.com.

Pertamina has deployed a team for the Holiday Task Force, operating from 16 December 2024 to 9 January 2025 to ensure smooth distribution. The company has also prepared 7,786 gas stations, 6,806 Pertashops, and 414 fuel stations for fishermen. For LPG, 6,478 agents and 754 distribution points are ready.

Fuel demand is expected to rise by 5% during the holiday period, while LPG distribution is predicted to increase by 2.7%
