inp.polri.go.id -  To raise legal awareness from an early age, the Sub-Directorate of Security and Safety (Suditkamsel) of the Traffic Directorate (Dirlantas) of the Gorontalo Police (Polda Gorontalo) held a Child Friendly Police Program (Polsanak) which this time was carried out with TK Az-Zahra. Held at Ditlantas HQ, dozens of children from Az-Zahra Kindergarten (TK) seemed very enthusiastic in participating in a series of activities led by AKP Usman S.H., and the policewomen, Sunday (5/6/22). AKP Usman S.H., said the Polsanak program aims to get closer with the kids and provide legal awareness education from an early age. "This is one of our programs in getting closer with the community, especially children, so that a sense of legal awareness grows from an early age," he explained. AKP Usman S.H., added that public awareness and obedience to the law must be instilled from an early age. "Everything must begin from the smallest things. If this activity is carried out continuously, it will become a habit so that when they are adults, they will be aware and obey the law," he added. The Program is delivered through fun activities that can be accepted by children including the introduction of traffic signs, obeying the traffic law by wearing a helmet. "Our hope is that they can can also remind their parents when riding a motorbike to school to always wear a helmet for safety," he concluded.
