inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice President Ma’ruf Amin says the government continues to improve the quality of hajj and umrah organizing service through guide, service, and protection for the pilgrims.

In pursuit of this goal, Ma’ruf Amin asked for the support of all related stakeholders for the improvement of hajj organizing service for years to come.

“This improvement requires the support of all parties, including regulatory and supervisory institutions for Islamic community organizations, religious scholars, associations of Hajj and Umrah travel service providers like all of you who are present today," said the Vice President.

According to him, if there are still regulations that need to be perfected for the hajj and umrah organizing, it should be communicated. He understands that organizing the hajj pilgrimage requires significant economic resources, including administrative guidance for travel and transportation, accommodation and consumption, and health services. 

“If there are regulations that need to be perfected, please communicate them. Communication is important for this improvement, that is what I want,” explains the VP.

He also appealed for the hajj and umrah travel companies to prioritize improving their service quality more than the business profit.

“Seeking business profit is fine, but the intention still must be clear and pure,” says VP Ma’ruf Amin.
