Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian national football team has moved up one spot to rank 133rd in the FIFA world rankings, now holding 1108.73 points.

According to FIFA's official website on Thursday (18/7/2024), the Garuda team ascended a rank despite not playing any matches within the FIFA calendar. This rise is attributed to significant point changes among European and American teams following the 2024 UEFA European Championship and Copa America 2024, according to antaranews.com.

Led by coach Shin Tae-yong, the team is set to participate in FIFA calendar matches during the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in September.

Globally, there were notable shifts in rankings, though Argentina, the Copa America 2024 champions, retained the top position with 1901.48 points. France, a semifinalist in the 2024 European Championship, remained second with 1854.91 points.
