Inp.polri.go.id - Badung. The Indonesian U-20 national team suffered a 0-3 defeat against host South Korea in their final match of the Seoul Earth on Us Cup 2024 at Mokdong Stadium on Sunday (1/9/2024).

South Korea took the lead just four minutes into the match. Kim Dong-min's corner kick was headed in by Shin Min-ha, putting Indonesia's goalkeeper, Ikram Al Gifari, under pressure.

Despite Indonesia's efforts to equalize, they struggled to breach South Korea’s solid defense. South Korea added their second goal in the 24th minute, with Kim Tae-won finishing a pass from Hong Seok-hyun, according to antaranews.com.

South Korea's third goal came in the 31st minute from another corner kick, this time by Hong Seok-hyun. The match remained 3-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Indonesia attempted to penetrate South Korea’s defense but failed to create clear chances. Muhammad Buffon and Riski Afrizal had opportunities, but their efforts were either off target or blocked.

The result left Indonesia with only one win in the tournament, a 2-1 victory over Argentina, and a previous 0-2 loss to Thailand.
