Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesia won the title at the FIFAe World Cup 2024 Football Managers on Sunday night (1/9/2024). 

The Indonesian team, led by manager Ichsan Rahmat Taufiq and assistant Budi Muhamad Manar Hidayat, defeated Germany in the final with an aggregate score of 8-2, according to antaranews.com. 

Germany, managed by Sven Goly with T Wheneett as assistant, lost 3-0 in the first match and 5-2 in the second.

In the group stage, Indonesia was in Group C, managing Sporting Lisbon alongside four other teams. 

They advanced to the semifinals as group winners with 364 points from three seasons, including 150 points from the league, 113 from tournaments, 65 from trophies, and 36 from management assessments. They outperformed Poland (343 points), France (331), England (295), and India (265).

In the semifinals, Indonesia defeated England with an aggregate score of 5-3 after a 2-2 draw in the first game and a 3-1 win in the second.
