INP Chief Awards Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team

Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), expressed his appreciation and awarded the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team for their exceptional accomplishments in the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship (AVC) held at the Rupatama Building, INP Headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday night (23/5/23).

The Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Volleyball Team secured the second place in the competition, which featured teams from various countries across Asia and Oceania. He expressed his pride in the entire volleyball team for their exceptional achievements in the championship.

"Tonight, I want to convey my utmost pride in all of you, including the players and the management team, representing the Chairman of PB PBVSI. Words cannot express my admiration," he stated.

He commended the entire volleyball team for their exceptional accomplishments in the championship, highlighting the fact that several Indonesian volleyball players had previously won gold medals at the 2023 Sea Games in Cambodia.

"I am profoundly touched by the remarkable achievements of each and every one of you, particularly when considering that you were handpicked by the Chairman of PB PBVSI. It is truly extraordinary to see that many of you have just concluded your participation in the Sea Games and emerged as champions. This is an outstanding feat," he expressed.

The team's remarkable achievements were even more impressive considering the limited preparation time. He stated that with these accomplishments, the INP personnel within the volleyball team reflecting INP's commitment to restoring public trust and upholding honor of the nation.

"In the current situation, where INP continues to strive to elevate and regain public trust, I am proud that among the teams competing in the Sea Games and the Asian club volleyball tournament, many INP personnel were actively involved. Once again, congratulations, and I am proud," he explained.

He attributed the team's success to the strong collaboration and communication among the players, managers, and all relevant parties, the rigorous training, and discipline. He emphasized that the sense of pride extended beyond the Bhayangkara Corps institution. The entire country, nation, and Indonesian people also shared the pride in the volleyball team's accomplishments.

"It's not just the INP institution that is proud, but the entire Indonesian society and volleyball fans. I believe that the achievements you have attained are not the last," he said.

However, he reminded the volleyball team not to become complacent with their achievements thus far. He urged them to continue working hard, practicing rigorously, and maintaining discipline to achieve even better results in future championships.

"There are still upcoming tasks. We will face the World Beach Game, a beach sports competition in Bali, and other international tournaments. I am confident that all of you will continue to excel and bring honor to the INP institution and Indonesia," he expressed.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of recognizing the police personnel who have brought honor to the Indonesian nation by providing them with educational opportunities to pursue a career within the police force. He urged the commanders to give careful consideration to their exceptional subordinates.

"And, undoubtedly, your unwavering dedication, perseverance, and the support and prayers from your parents, family, the entire team, managers, and, of course, the police institution will propel you forward to achieve even greater accomplishments. Once again, I am proud of you. Keep striving for greatness," he concluded.
