inp.polri.go.id - Bali. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief Operation Assistant, Inspector General Verdianto I. Biticaca orders members of Bhayangkara Corps to handle security disturbances in prone areas ahead of the 2024 Regional Head Election.

“We implore our colleagues who are stationed in prone areas to continue giving your best. Be more active in handling security disturbances,” said Verdianto during the security coordination meeting of the 2024 Regional Head Election.

According to him, police members can do various steps and efforts in preventing conflicts, such as peaceful election campaigns and election security mapping. Then, police also have to coordinate with the Indonesian National Army and regional security officials to maintain 2024 Regional Head Election conduciveness.

WIth a solid cooperation, he is sure that areas prone to disturbances can be handled smoothly and guarantee the success of the election.

On the other hand, INP has mapped several areas prone to disturbances during the 2024 Regional Head Election with seven dimensions reference.

“The seven dimensions are security organizer dimension, participant dimension, community dimension, potential disturbance dimension, disturbance threshold dimension and real disturbance dimension," he said.
