Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) has declared its commitment and preparation to secure the distribution of logistics for the 2024 general election in the country's remote, outermost and border areas, locally known as  3T areas, through Operation Mantap Brata 2023-2024. Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the Head of the Public Information Bureau at the INP Public Relations Division, said  on Wednesday (17/1/2024) that the operation has specific targets, including presidential and vice-presidential candidates, polling stations  and key election logistics and distribution centers. "In some areas, such as the islands, we deployed air and water police to ensure comprehensive security. The main focus was to support transport needs and ensure the smooth distribution of election logistics," he explained . The overall security measures were aimed at safeguarding the electoral process and upholding the principles of fair and secure elections throughout the archipelago, the spokesperson said.
