INP Prepare Security Operations for Indonesia-Africa Forum in Bali

Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Indonesian National Police (INP) held pre-operation training (Latpraops) Puri Agung II 2024 in Badung, Bali, on Monday (26/8/2024), to secure the upcoming 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) and the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP). 

The training was led by Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, who serves as the Deputy Head of Operations (Wakaops) for the event.

The training, conducted at Balai Budaya Giri Nata Mandala, focused on improving the capabilities of police personnel in safeguarding these high-profile events. 

"This activity is aimed at ensuring that all involved personnel, from officials to field officers, fully understand the operation plans and security strategies," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Following the training, a Tactical Floor Game (TFG) will be held on Wednesday to further align personnel understanding both theoretically and practically.

The Puri Agung II operation involves collaboration between the INPHeadquarters, Bali Police, East Java Police, and West Nusa Tenggara Police. A total of 4,523 personnel will be deployed for the event, which runs from 31 August to 4 September 2024.

The 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum and the HLF MSP will be held from 1 to 3 Septembe, 2024, with participation from 28 heads of state and 800 delegates, focusing on key areas like economic transformation, energy, mining, food security, health, and development.
