inp.polri.go.id -  The North Sumatra Police arrested 15 people suspected of being involved in the online gambling case of Apin BK. Currently, Apin is still being hunted down by Interpol. These 15 people were arrested in Pekanbaru and all of them are suspected of being leaders and operators in the gambling. "We, North Sumatra managed to arrest 15 perpetrators who were involved in online gambling operations J, which includes their leaders and operators," explained the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, Monday (10/10/22). Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said the arrests were made by officers in the Pekanbaru area, Riau. Currently, the 15 suspect are being moved to the North Sumatra Police. As previously reported, the raid on the location of the online gambling operation in the Cemara Asri Complex was led directly by the North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak. After that, the police investigated the online gambling case. The police examined a number of witnesses, and determinde an online gambling boss named Apin BK alias Jonni alias AP alias ABK as suspect and went to his luxury home, but unable to arrest him. Currently, Apin is being hunted by Interpol after the red notice against him was published.
