Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) will deactivate 94 thousand ID Card who have passed away or moved from Jakarta since 2024 General Election.
“This is a recommendation from Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) during our socialization report last year,” said Head of Jakarta Disdukcapil, Budi Awaluddin on Monday (2/26/2024).
According to him, his party have socialized to all Jakarta citizen since September 2023. He says that people who have exited Jakarta is 243,160 and those who came to Jakarta is 136,200 in 2023.
“There will be 94 thousand ID Cards that we will deactive. The number consists of 81 thousand ID Card whose person has passed away and 13 thousand others for those who have moved outside Jakarta,” said Budi.
Budi further explains that the ID Card terminated by his party are the citizen who have not live in Jakarta for more than a year, citizens who should have e-KTP but not recording it for more than five year since the mandatory age, including those who passed away. Then there is also citizen who have been banned by institution and law institutions, and people who receive objections from home, rental or building owners.
“Administration order must be implemented for the good of people considering the data accuracy could affect regional development and public regulation,” explained Budi.
