The Jambi Regional Police organized a multi-faith prayer led by leaders from Islam, Protestant, Catholic, Hinduism, and Buddhism to promote peace and safety during the 2024 Elections, on Saturday (10/2/2024). Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, Chief of the Jambi Regional Police, stressed the significance of security personnel performing their duties effectively to ensure a smooth electoral process. "We are deploying our colleagues to reinforce and support the regional units. Therefore, I urge you to carry out your duties to the best of your ability. Prioritize your health and ensure you have the necessary equipment to fulfill your security responsibilities," he said. The police chief advised polling station security personnel against engaging in additional activities, stating, "Your role is solely to ensure security. Avoid actions that could be misinterpreted, and do not overburden our colleagues in the region.
