Inp.polri.go.id – Gorontalo. The President Joko Widodo inaugurate the Panua Pohuwato Airport, Gorontalo, Monday (4/22/2024). The president says that the construction of the airport cost up to IDR 437 billion.

“I am happy, alhamdulillah that Pania Airport in Pohuwato is completed. The Transportation Minister has said that the airport cost up to IDR 437 billion. It is a huge cost to open the economic access to Pohuwato Regency,” said Jokowi on Monday (4/22/2024).

The airport has a runway of 1,200 x 30 meters, which only small aircraft can land on.

“Thus, I asked for a longer runway so that full ATR can land in this airport, at least by the end of this year. I guess that is all I can say for now,” conclude Jokowi.
