inp.polri.go.id – The Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) have carried out a series of Ketupat Maung 2022 Operations for 16 days from Friday 22 April 2022 and the operation has been completed on Sunday 08 May 2022 at 24.00 WIB. Banten Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Banten) Inspector General Prof. Dr. Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, S.H., M.H., M.B.A., appreciated all stakeholders who have gave their best in providing services to the community during the homecoming, return flow and in tourist destinations. "Thank you to the Merak Port authorities, the managers of Indah Kiat Ports, Pelindo, and Bandar Bakau Jaya, as well as the private sector for assisting the ship's fleet in our service to the people," said Kapolda Banten. Kapolda Banten also expressed his gratitude to the TNI, Regional Government, Basarnas, BPBD, toll road managers, PHRI, and other parties who have assisted the operations during the 2022 Eid holiday. The highest appreciation from Kapolda Bante was conveyed to all Banten Police and Departmental Police personnel who have gone all out in carrying out their duties during the operation, who have dedicated themselves in serving the community, so that people can enjoy the Eid al-Fitr 1443 H holiday. “According to the data, the peak of the return flow was occurred as we predicted, which is on Friday (06/05) with 142,377 passengers and 31,538 vehicles, on Saturday (07/05/22) with 160,143 passengers and 38,945 vehicles, and on Sunday (08/05/ 22) with 122,662 passengers with 28,728 vehicles," explained Kapolda Banten.
