inp.polri.go.id – The Head of the Yogyakarta Special Region Police (Polda DIY), Inspector General Asep Suhendar asked the entire community to maintain health protocols even though the status of the implementation of community activity restrictions (PPKM) had dropped to level 1. "People still must keep their distance and the most important thing keep wear your masks," implored Inspector General Asep Suhendar at the Yogyakarta Palace Complex, Wednesday, (08/06/22). According to the Two-Star General, the public still has to maintain their health because in reality the transmission of COVID-19 is still exist. "Because we received an information that there is a reemergence of COVID-19," said the Akabri graduate in 1987. In accordance with the Instruction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo, the use of masks is still neccessary, especially when in a closed room. "For the elderly and have comorbidities, please use your masks for the sake of your health," stressed former Sahlijemen Kapolri. In a different place, the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of DIY, Masmin Afif, related the status of PPKM Level 1 in DIY. Although the capacity for worship activities in DIY is relaxed a bit more, he appealed that the health protocols must continue to be applied. "We still have to maintain health protocols so that the this pandemic situation can be handled smoothly and eventually the situation can return to normal," explained Masmin Afif. The implementation of PPKM Level 1 is contained in the instructions of the Governor of DIY Number 16/INSTR/2022, regarding the implementation of the restriction on community activities at level 1 which was signed by the Governor of DIY Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X on Tuesday (07/06/22).
