inp.polri.go.id – Korlantas Polri will expand the implementation of ETLE-based legal action in Medan City. This was explained by the Directorate of Law Enforcement (Dirgakkum) of Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police (Polri), Brigadier General Drs. Aan Suhanan, M.Sc. "In Medan itself, there are already two cameras that can be implemented and already in operational and we just checked for implementation," explained Brigadier General Drs. Aan Suhanan, M.Sc., accompanied by the Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) of the North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) at the TMC Building, Wednesday (8/6/2022). "This cameras are already connected to the Presisi National ETLE," he explained further. He added that law enforcement with ETLE has been implemented in 26 Regional Polices throughout Indonesia, and installed at 286 location points, with the addition of 30 more cameras from the cooperation with the toll road party. "Of course, this is a minimum target, the maximum target is that all stakeholders can help us and collaborate so that there are more cameras and the level of compliance on the road will be enhanced further more," he said. He also explained that Medan Mayor, Bobby Afif Nasution, appreciated Korlantas Polri regarding the implementation of ETLE. Bobby will also provide access to 10 cameras that will be integrated with the Precision National ETLE. "We have already having a discussion with the Mayor. It turns out that the Mayor's program is also related to ETLE. The first is the e-Parking program, then there is a program from the transportation service that can be integrated with our ETLE camera," he said. "We hope that in the future the level of compliance in Medan will increase, then the traffic culture on the roads will be more orderly, which eventually made city of Medan become a smart city," he concluded.
