Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Famil’s KBPP Polri Cup 2025 Taekwondo Championship kicked off at Ciracas Sports Hall, East Jakarta, on Saturday(9/8/2025), drawing 1,227 athletes from across Indonesia. 

The two-day event is contested for the Commander of Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Corps Cup and opened by Brigadier General Agustri Heriyanto of the Brimob Gegana Bomb Disposal Unit.

“We, from the Brimob Corps, are ready to support any sports activities like this. Good luck competing, and always uphold sportsmanship,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

KBPP Polri Chairperson Evita Nursanty praised the strong turnout, expressing hopes the championship will expand to include all provinces in the future. 

The tournament features cadet and performance categories, serving as a platform for skill development, competitive experience, and talent scouting for future champions.
