Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chairman Firli Bahuri was summoned by joint investigators from the Metro Jaya Regional Police's Special Criminal Investigation Directorate and the INP's Criminal Investigation Agency, today (16/11/23). The inquiry is part of an alleged extortion case involving former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Police Senior Superintendent Arief Adiharsa, Vice Director of Corruption Crime Directorate (Dittipidkor) at the INP's Criminal Investigation Agency, provided confirmation of the unfolding examination on the 6th floor of the Dittipidkor examination room, commencing at approximately 9 am. Bahuri's appearance today comes after an absence on Tuesday (14/11), attributing it to a scheduling conflict with his examination at the KPK Supervisory Board. This marks the second round of questioning for the KPK Chairman in connection to the same case, with the initial inquiry taking place on Tuesday (24/10/23) at the INP's Criminal Investigation Agency. Police Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak, Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Regional Police, disclosed that three additional witnesses, all affiliated with the Indonesian KPK, underwent questioning at Dittipidkor today. However, he did not reveal the identities of these witnesses. (ar/inp/pr/nm)
