Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still waiting for the remaining 5,681 elected legislative candidates to report their Asset Declaration Reports (LHKPN) following the submission of the reports by  14,201 elected legislative candidates.

KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto urged these candidates to submit their LHKPN before the deadline of 21 days prior to their inauguration.

"The KPK encourages these candidates to promptly report their assets," he said on Friday (19/7/2024) as reported by antaranews.com.

As of 18 July 2024, the KPK has recorded that 14,201 candidates have fulfilled their obligation to report their assets. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in the candidates not being inaugurated, as confirmed by KPU RI member Idham Holik.

This rule is outlined in Article 52 of KPU Regulation Number 6 of 2024 on the determination of elected candidates. The KPU has also issued Circular Number 1262/PL.01.9-SDFD/05/2024 on LHKPN reporting in preparation for the submission of the decree of elected candidates for the oath-taking ceremony.
