inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) has updated the permanent voter list (DPT) for polling stations located in correctional institutions and detention centers.

KPU Member August Mellaz said that his party had mapped several points for the special polling stations since the beginning when compiling the DPT.

"Since we first compiled the voter list, we have mapped several points where it requires some kind of special polling stations," said Mellaz on Friday (10/11/2024).

According to him, so far there have been no obstacles in determining the DPT because the collaboration between the KPU and the prison has been running smoothly.

He also acknowledges that there are differences in the DPT between the general election and regional elections. This is because some inmates were already freed during the regional election
