inp.polri.go.id – Lampung Police Drugs Investigation Directorate destroyed a 2-hectare marijuana field in Pulo Village, Lamteuba Settlement, Seulimeum District, Aceh Besar District, Aceh Province, Tuesday (10/25). The extermination was carried out by a joint team consisting of the Lampung Provincial National Narcotics Agency, the Aceh Police Drugs Investigation Directorate, the West Sumatra Regional Directorate General of Customs and Excise Office, the Aceh Besar District Military Command 0101, the Aceh Besar District Court, and the Aceh Besar District Attorney. "We have destroyed around 20 thousand marijuana trees on a 2-hectare land weighing 12 tons at the location," said the Director of Drugs Investigation Unit of Lampung Police, Commissioner Aris Supriyono, reported by Antaranews, Wednesday (10/26). The destruction of the marijuana fields was the development of drugs case that has been revealed in seaport interdiction of Bakauheni Port, South Lampung. “We continuously developed the case and found a marijuana field in Aceh that now we destroyed. With the personnel we have gathered, we completely destroyed and burned the drugs. We hope that this termination will become a significant progress in fighting against drugs,” he said.
